摘要

A Spectral Finite-Difference Time-Domain (SFDTD) approach for wide-band electromagnetic scattering from a three-dimensional randomly rough surface is developed. Rough surface is seen as a periodically extensive surface, and the SFDTD method replaces the conventional single-angle incident wave with a constant transverse wave number (CTW) wave. Because the transverse wave numbers are constant, the fields have no delay in the transverse plane and periodic boundary condition (PBC) can be directly implemented in the time domain for both oblique and normal incident pulse waves. The wide-band scattering results from a rough surface obtained in SFDTD method are compared with FDTD method and a good agreement is observed.
