摘要

The number of Christians in China today varies widely from about 20 millions up to more than 100 millions. It is important to know how these figures come up, and even more to understand why different agents release and insist their versions of this particular issue. The statistics is not purely an academic activity, but involves many complicated social, cultural, and political factors.
