Synthesis and properties of Eu3+ activated Y2Hf7O17 nano powders

摘要

Eu3++ doped Y2Hf7O17 nano powders were synthesized by the chemical self-combustion method at low temperature. XRD, TEM and SEM were employed to analyze the phase composition and the characteristics of nano powders. The excitation and emission spectra were analyzed by the fluorescence photometer. The results show that nano scale powders calcined at 800°C have good luminescent properties. There are two peaks in emission spectra. One is at 595nm, and the other is at 614nm. The analysis of XRD and PL spectra reveal that Y2Hf7O17 is a cubic phase. The sample dopped of 14mol% Eu3++ has the maximum luminescent intensity.
