摘要

The nuclear wobbling mode, intrinsically linked to the triaxiality of nuclear shape, has obtained significant attention in recent years both experimentally and theoretically. This phenomenon was originally proposed by Bohr and Mottelson [1] for a triaxial rotor, specifically for even-even nuclei without coupling quasiparticles, where the sole angular momentum in the system is the total angular momentum. In this framework, the nucleus undergoes rotation around the principal axis with the largest moment of inertia, typically the intermediate axis, leading to harmonic oscillations about the space-fixed angular momentum vector. The anticipated energy spectra arising from this motion are typified by a sequence of rotational E2 bands corresponding to distinct oscillation quanta (n). Transitions between these bands predominantly involve https://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML">ΔI=1https://s3-euw1-ap-pe-df-pch-content-public-p.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/9781032691633/ccd9ae87-31e0-48c2-9451-6cf2c53e9f01/content/math10_1.tif" xmlns:xlink="https://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"/> transitions exhibiting an E2 character, as the wobbling motion stems from the collective motion of the entire triaxial charge density relative to the angular momentum vector.
