Quality monitoring, analysis and evaluation of BDS B1I signal

摘要

Signal abnormalities would directly lead to service performance degradation of a satellite navigation system, especially SOL services, which might cause immeasurable casualties and property loss. As the first global service signal of the Beidou Satellites Navigation System(BDS) that provides global services for civil purpose, B1I signal is applicable to aeronautical navigation service in the future. This paper proposed a satellite navigation signal quality monitoring method to make a comprehensive assessment to B1I signal quality from the perspectives of time domain, frequency domain, correlation domain and modulation domain. Furthermore, a satellite navigation signal quality monitoring system was established on the basis of a high-gain parabolic antenna, which was used to monitor and analyze the SiS quality of B1I signals from BDS on-orbit satellites. The monitoring and analysis results showed that the signal quality was good and satisfied the design requirements.
