Modified Transformation Optics Based FDTD for Local Mesh Refinement

摘要

In this paper, we modify Transformation optics Finite Difference Time Domain (TO-FDTD) method to calculate the small structure in a large computational domain. We use rectangular transformation boundaries rather than circular boundaries to enlarge the small object. Also, we modify the coordinate transformation equation to make rectangular annulus boundary parallel to coordinate axis to estimate the staircasing errors. Simulation results show the result of rectangular TO-FDTD method.
