摘要

Let C(q,n,δ) be the narrow-sense BCH code over Fq of length >n = q4 - 1 with designed distance δ. This paper mainly investigates the parameters of the codes (q,n,δ) and their hulls for 2 ≤ δ ≤ n. A sufficient and necessary condition on the designed distance such that the hull has the largest dimension is presented. Finally, examples of self-orthogonal codes from their hulls are obtained.
