摘要

Aim: To study the effect of cold water-immersed stress on the secreting amount of bile in rats and discuss its possible mechanism. Methods: The experiment was completed in the Laboratory of Animal Physiology, Shandong Normal University from April 2003 to June 2003. Operation on the rats was performed to let the bile flow out, and then cold water-immersed stress was conducted. The changes of the bile amount before and after stress were observed. Results: One hour after stress, during the first hour, the amount of bile secretion was (0.49 ± 0.10) mL, which was reduced, but not significantly. After two and three hours, the amounts were (0.44 ± 0.14) mL and (0.38 ± 0.15) mL, respectively, which were reduced significantly(t = 2.57, 2.99, P < 0.05). Conclusion: Cold water-immersed stress plays a role in inhibiting the amount of bile secretion.
