摘要
Reactive oxygen species play an important role in contraction-induced glucose transport into skeletal muscle. However, the relative mechanism is poorly understood. This paper discusses the effect of reactive oxygen species in skeletal muscle glucose transport, including the suitable concentration and possible mechanism of reactive oxygen species, which take part in contraction-induced glucose transport, such as 5′-AMP-activated protein kinase pathway, mitogen activated protein kinase pathway, phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase/protein kinase B and Ca2+ pathway. The result of this paper will further reveal the molecular mechanism of exercise prevent and cure insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes.
