摘要

The disinfection by-products formation potential (DBPFP) of dissolved organic matter (DOM) isolated from algae bloom water was investigated. DOM in raw water was isolated and fractionated using XAD-8 resin into four different fractions: hydrophilic substances (HIS), hydrophobic acids (HOA), hydrophobic neutrals (HON), and hydrophobic bases (HOB). HIS is the most abundant fraction and it posses 72.86% of total DOC. The DBPFP of different DOM fractions was studied, and the result show that HIS is the main precursor of disinfection by-products (DBPs), the trihalomethanes formation potential (THMFP) of HIS accounting for 63% of the total THMFP, the haloacetic acids formation potential (HAAFP) of HIS accounting for 31.25% of the total HAAFP. The factor affecting the formation of DBPs from HIS was investigated, and the results show that with the increase of chlorine dosage and contact time, the DBPs yields increase. When algae bloom was occurred in drinking water source, effective removal technology of HIS should be applied by water supply plants, so as to control DBPs formation in water treatment.
