摘要
Nanoscale palladized iron (Pd/Fe) bimetallic particles were prepared by reductive deposition method in order to increase dechlorination efficiencies of bimetallic particles. The particles were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray fluorescence (XRF), scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM) and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller-nitrogen (BET-N2) method. Data obtained from those methods indicate that α-Fe0 exists in nanoscale Pd/Fe bimetallic particles. The particle size and specific surface area of particles are 30-50 nm and 51 m2/g, respectively. Dechlorination efficiency of MCAA with nanoscale Pd/Fe bimetallic particles is 7.9 and 1.7 times higher than that of nanoscale Fe and reductive Fe, respectively.
