Broadband mid-infrared single-pixel imaging based on two-photon structured modulation

摘要

Two-photon absorption (TPA) offers a promising avenue for achieving highly sensitive mid-infrared (MIR) detection at room temperature. However, conventional TPA-based imaging schemes that rely on raster scanning or detector arrays are often constrained by limited acquisition speed and sensitivity. Here, we propose a MIR single-pixel imaging approach driven by two-photon structured modulation, in which high-fidelity spatial encoding and detection of MIR signals are realized through phase-matching-free nonlinear interactions. Experimental results confirm that this method enables scalable, broadband, and high-performance MIR imaging under ambient conditions, holding great promise for applications in biomedical diagnostics and material characterization.
