摘要

The reaction of 2-aminomethylpyridine, benzaldehyde and NaN₃ in the presence of the metal ions leads to an unexpected in situ formation of a substituted tetrazole, 5-(2-pyridyl)-1H-tetrazole, and its Mn(II) and Cu(II) compounds MnL₂(H₂O)₂ (1) and CuL ₂(H₂O)₂ (2). In these structures, mononuclear units connect each other via hydrogen bonds to form a two-dimensional network.
