摘要
Anonymous password-authenticated key exchange (APAKE) protocol can provide both password-only authentication and user anonymity over a public network. Following an analysis of the security problems pertaining to an efficient APAKE protocol, a new efficient secure APAKE protocol is proposed. The analysis shows that the proposed protocol is resistant to dictionary attack and provides user anonymity. The server and the user need 2 modular exponentiations respectively. Compared to the existing APAKE protocols, the efficiency has been improved substantially.
