摘要

Phosphate is an essential food additive, but excessive intake can cause kidney injury and hyperphosphatemia. Consequently, accurate and efficient detection of phosphate used in food processing are crucial for health. In this work, eighteen high electron mobility transistors were integrated onto a sapphire substrate approximately 1 cm in length, forming a microchip. After surface modification, the chip was employed for phosphate detection. The results revealed a detection limit of 0.412 mg/L and a sensitivity of 1.356 µA/(mg/L), meeting all food limit requirements established in the General Standard for Food Additives. Moreover, it demonstrates exceptional performance in cola detection, indicating its potential for food contamination detection. This new rapid testing method offers both convenience and efficiency.
