摘要
In this work, a "green"doping strategy with all energy input from concentrated solar light (CSL) and a rapid doping duration of a few seconds is proposed. As a proof of concept, the cobalt (Co) has been doped into TiO2 nanotube photonic crystals (TiO2 NTPCs) with this promising CSL doping strategy. The Co doped TiO2 NTPCs have shown an increase of more than 3 times the photocurrent density. We believe that the CSL-induced doping method can provide an effective alternative and versatile way to dope miscellaneous elements in various semiconductors for implementing the enhancement of solar energy conversion efficiency.
