A Credible and Lightweight Blockchain for IOT's Data Storage and Access

摘要

With the increasing application of the Internet of Things (IOT), a large amount of data is generated every day in IOT. This paper adopts the blockchain to replace the centralized server to manage the data storage and access of IOT. Each blockchain node is equivalent to a server, managing some IOT devices. We store metadata in the blockchain and distribute the raw data in IOT devices. We use the Proof of Stake (POS) and the Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance (PBFT) hybrid consensus algorithm to improve the throughput. Also, we propose a reputation mechanism to suppress the malicious behavior.
