There are some distinctive character Usage habits in Han dynasty. Based on Bamboo slips and silk literature, this paper will make a study on the featured usage of three characters:“ben (贲)” as the word “ben (奔)”； “bai (柏)” as the word “bo (伯)”；“fei (蜚)” as the word “fei (飞)”. We should deepen our understanding of the characteristics of Chinese characters in terms of time and degree of popularity.
