摘要
A frequency-modulated continuous wave (FMCW) millimeter-wave radar signal processing system was proposed in this paper. The algorithm scheme was based on the fundamental FMCW signal detection principle while the hardware system was realized by using the FPGA+ARM heterogeneous mode. A multi-stage pipeline FIR filter and a dual-core FFT parallel processing scheme were proposed to improve the time-frequency conversion efficiency. The FFT circuit used a one-stage butterfly operation unit to save hardware resources. In order to facilitate the further development, a CAN controller compatible with CAN1.0 and 2.0 protocols was designed to output the detection results. The power consumption of the entire signal processing system is 493 mW while consuming 20 440 LUT. The measurement results show that the system can accurately detect the target distance and orientation. The average detection error is within ±10 cm and the angle resolution is less than 2.15°. It can detect up to three targets at the same time.
