世界中国学专题数据库建设与应用研究 - 来自华东师范大学的实践

[Purpose/significance] Trying to build a thematic database of World China Studies to fix the problems including hard to get the knowledge of China from overseas, paying insufficient attention to public opinions and correlation of scholars in World China Studies. [Method/process] Introduce the design of the World China Studies thematic database in the aspects of data acquisition, data processing and integration, as well as data retrieval and utilization. And then did a case study of the World China Studies Thematic Database in East China Normal University. [Result/conclusion] Building the thematic database of World China Studies can greatly facilitate the locating of important scholars, important institutions, hot fields, as well as correlations among scholars. In addition, the database could also provide data resources for other in-depth and multidimensional research.
