Abstract

A uric acid (UA) biosensor based on uricase immobilized on ZnO nanowires was studied by quartz crystal microbalance (QCM). The stability of immobilized uricase was studied. Uricase was immobilized in PBS solution. And the frequency response showed a linear dependence on the uric acid concentration ranging from 5.0 × 10 -6 to 8 × 10 -5molL -1. The results indicated one-dimensional ZnO structure is a good material for biosensor application.
