Ultralow-noise infrared spectroscopy at single-photon level based on frequency upconversion system

Abstract

We realized an efficient infrared spectrometer with high detection sensitivity at single photon level by using the wavelength tunable frequency upconversion detection technique with synchronized laser source. This kind of spectrometers also can be used in remote spectrum analysis.
