Abstract

Two new species, Velarifictorus (Velarifictorus) yinhaishengisp. nov. Di & He and V. (V.) liuxianweiisp. nov. Di & He are reported from Yunnan, China. The morphology of the new species is provided. Compared to other species of the subgenus Velarifictorus Randell 1964, the new species shows significant differences in male genitalia and stripes on head. COI gene of nine species was used to construct a phylogenetic tree. The molecular results support the validation of the new species. The type specimens are deposited in the Museum of Biology, East China Normal University (ECNU).
