Abstract
The crystal structure of 1-phenyl-3-methyl-5-[2′-(4"- henylmethoxylphenyl)ethoxyl] pyrazole, a potential JH mimic, has been established; the crystal belongs to the triclinic system with z = 2, and the distance between C(25) and H{14) (19.64A), an important steric factor, which is very near the optimum value (21A) for JH activity expression, may yield an explanation to the potential bioactivity of the new pyrazole compound.
