The comparison research of concept map tools

Abstract

Concept map is one of teaching and thinking tools, which was made by Professor Novak in the last century 60s, and it is also an effective tool for knowledge organization and representation which has a huge prospect in teaching and knowledge management applications in educational institutions, enterprises and government. There are a variety of professional concept map tools now. We selected four of them and compared with each other from four aspects, like interface design, graphics and visual effects, relations setting function, import and export file types and collaboration, so that it could provide reference to those who use concept map tools.
