Abstract

Tetra(trifluoroethoxyl) zinc phthalocyanine, which could be dissolved in most organic solvents, was synthesized. The compound displays a good photocytotoxicity on myeloma cells and Chinese hamster ovary cells in vitro in the presence of the emulsifyng agent F68.
