Terahertz generation from DFG and TPG configurations

Abstract

Experimental results using two ways of Terahertz generation from difference frequency generation (DFG) in GaSe crystal and terahertz-wave parametric generator (TPG) in MgO doped LiNbO 3 crystal are reported. High power and broad band frequency THz are generated from DFG, and obvious idler light and THz emission are observed from TPG configurations.
