Abstract

Two little known species, Cololejeunea baudoinii Tixier from New Caledonia and Leptocolea inundata Herzog from Borneo, are reduced to synonyms of Cololejeunea angustiflora (Steph.) Mizut. and Cololejeunea serrulata Steph., respectively. The new combination, Cololejeunea johannis-winkleri (Herzog) R.L. Zhu, comb. nov, is proposed. Cololejeunea khanii Tixier, endemic to Bangladesh, is illustrated and described in detail. Cololejeunea madothecoides (Steph.) Benedix, the only rheophilic species of Cololejeunea, is reported for the first time for China. The lectotype of Leptocolea johannis-winkleri is designated.
