Abstract

Highly ordered mesoporous titania with anatase framework was synthesized by introducing an assistant solvent of CH₃NO₂ into the acid-base pair synthesis system. Due to its ability of promoting proton transfer, CH₃NO₂ enhanced the interaction between inorganic precursors. The characterization with XRD, TEM, BET and UV-Vis spectra showed that addition of an appropriate amount of CH₃NO₂ was the key of synthesizing the expected mesoporous titania successfully.
