Abstract
A-type zeolite membrane was synthesized on the tubular α-Al 2 O3 support with vacuum-assisted method. The synthesized membrane was characterized by XRD and SEM. The effect of vacuum on the properties of A-type zeolite membrane was investigated. With the assistance of vacuum, the zeolite particles could be transported to the support surface homogenously and rapidly, thus facilitating to form uniform and continuous zeolite membranes in shorter time.
