Abstract

The new hierarchy: c-TUD-1, a new aluminosilicate with a hierarchical micro/mesoporous structure, has been successfully synthesized by a steamassisted post-crystallization process. c-TUD-1 has large pore size and volume, high surface area, high acid concentration/strength, and high hydrothermal stability, and demonstrates significantly higher activity than either amorphous aluminosilicate or bulky ZSM-5 in catalytic reactions involving large molecules.
