Abstract
The title compound was obtained from the reaction of H4SiMo4W8O40 ·25H2O with Co(NO3)2 at pH 4.7-5.0. The novel compound was characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and thermogravimetric analysis. The X-ray single crystal structural analysis reveals that the title compound K4H2[SiW7Mo4Co (H2O)O39]·22H2O crystallize in tetragonal system, space group P4/mnc, Mr = 2928.47, a = 1.4096(12), b = 1.4096(12), c = 1.2373(14) nm, V = 2.459(4) nm3, Z=2, Dc = 3.933 g cm-3, the final R = 0.0642 and wR = 0.1477 for 1148 observed reflections with I≥2σ(I).
