Abstract

Complexes of glyoxalic acid thiosemicarbazone (H2GATSC) of the compositions M(HGATSC)2 • nH20 [M = Co(II), Ni(II), n = 2; M = Zn(II), n — 1; and M = Mn(II), Pb(I I), n — 0] and Cu(GATSC)(H20) have been prepared and characterized on the basis of analytical data, molar conductance and magnetic susceptibility measurements and electronic and infrared spectra studies. The structures of the complexes have been proposed.
