Abstract

The surface complexation models were described with emphasis on the constant capacitance model and triple layer model. The objective model was also briefly discussed. According to these models, the adsorption equilibrium among H⁺, OH^-, metal ions and ligands can be handled in the same way as for the equilibrium in solutions.
