Abstract

The model for the formation of surface complexes between the functional sites at ion exchange resin and the adsorbed metal ions was briefly described in this paper. In terms of this surface complex model, the binary and multicomponent equilibria on the weakly-acidic ion exchange resin and chelating resin with iminodiacetic functional groups were also described.
