Abstract
A sub-fs pulse train with a large pulse spacing was generated with correlated Raman generators in a three-level Raman system. The simulation based on the fundamental rotational and vibrational Raman transitions in molecular H2 showed that the coherence balances between the involved levels which belong to different vibrational levels are critically important in order to get a broadband, well-proportioned spectrum and well-separated sub-fs pulse train.
