Abstract

This paper discusses the properties of triglycine sulfate (TGS) crystals doped with urea and L-α-alanine. Pyroelectric coefficient and dielectric constants and Curie temperature are increased with these two additions. Infrared spectrum and dielectric loss of UrLATGS are measured. It is more suitable for infrared pyroelectric detectors than undoped TGS crystals.
