Abstract
The epoxidation of allyl chloride (ALC) with hydrogen peroxide was conducted over Ti-MWW in a fixed-bed reactor. The studies of reaction conditions in the fixed-bed reactor system showed that the WHSV of H2O2 had obvious influences on the epoxidation of ALC. The conversion of ALC and H2O2, the epichlorohydrin selectivity, and H2O2 efficiency reached 19.0%, 98.0%, 99.9% and 97.0%, respectively, under the optimum reaction conditions of MeCN as the solvent, ALC/H2O2 molar ratio of 5, temperature of 333 K, and H2O2 WHSV of 0.44 h-1.
