Abstract

Based on the conventional weather observational data of the weather stations around Tarim Basin, a set of categorical standard to forecast sandstorm in Tarim Basin is set up. At the same time, the sandstorms in Tarim Basin are divided into four types from the synoptic meteorological point of view, a sandstorm warning system is established.
