Studies of accelerated aging of phthalocyanine films for optical storage

Abstract

Accelerated aging test was adopted to determine the life of phthalocyanine (Pc) thin film for optical storage. The variation of reflectivity was used as the basis of determination, the reflectivity versus aging time was measure at 55 °C, 85%RH; 65 °C, 85%RH and 75 °C, 85%RH. Then the natural life of Pc thin film was estimated by extrapolation.
