Abstract

A hydroxyl group ended hyperbranched polyester generation 4(G4) with trimethylolpropane(TMP) as a core and 2, 2-dimethylol propionic acid(DMP) as a branched monomer weighted about 12100 was synthesized by a semi-one pot method. G4 was introduced into polymethyl silsesquioxane(PMSQ) system, and a series of G4/PMSQ composite membranes were prepared. Solid state NMR was used to characterize the structures of the composites. By measuring the 1H T, the miscibility of the two components of the composite was also studied.
