Abstract

We experimentally investigate stochastic resonance phenomenon with multiplicative noise in a -type three-level atomic bistable system. The system perturbed by a periodic low frequency forcing term shows an improved signal-to-noise ratio at certain strength of the multiplicative noise applied onto the cavity frequency.
