Abstract

We report the fabrication of a novel surface-enhanced Raman scattering substrate with controllable enhancement factor based on ultrashort pulse laser direct writing on Ag+-doped silicate glass followed by chemical plating at about 40°C. Enhanced Raman spectra and intensity "blinking" of single molecule were observed on the fabricated substrate.
