Abstract

In the past decades, side arm modified chiral bisoxazoline ligands (SaBOX) have attracted considerable attention in the asymmetric catalysis field, beyond traditional Lewis acid catalysis. A number of different types of enantioselective reactions have been developed in high yield with excellent enantioselectivity by employing SaBOX as chiral ligands. In this review, recent development and prospect on the application of SaBOX ligand in organometallic catalytic asymmetric reactions are discussed. This review does not focus on Lewis acid catalyzed reactions.
