Abstract

The goal of ShanghaiGrid is providing information services to the people. It aims at constructing a metropolitan-area information service infrastructure and establishing an open standard for widespread upper-layer applications from both communities and the government. A typical application named as Traffic Information Grid is discussed in detail.
