Abstract

This work presents a revision of genus Xizicus. two new subgenera are described: Xizicus (Zangxizicus) subgen. nov. and Xizicus (Haploxizicus) subgen. nov. Three new species are described, namely Xizicus (Paraxizicus) fallax sp. nov., Xizicus (Zangxizicus) tibeticus sp. nov. and Xizicus (Zangxizicus) quadrifascipes sp. nov.. Keys to subgenera and species are provided. Key words: Orthoptera, Tettigoniidae, Meconematinae, Xizicus, Paraxizicus, Zangxizicus, Haploxizicus, new species.
