Abstract

Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) aims at having the cyber world and the physical world integrated gracefully. Great challenges are raised for management of CPS. In this paper, we put management of CPS in the vision of Web-of-Things to achieve interoperability and simplicity under the design style of "REpresentational State Transfer" (REST). The integration of management entities to the web was analyzed after categorizing the devices in CPS according to the management requirements of CPS. Then the abstraction of the integrated management entities to RESTful management service was proposed based on an existing management information model. A case study was also presented to demonstrate applying REST in management of CPS.
