Abstract

In this study, an educational decision supporting system regarding the issue of extending the length of Chinese national compulsory education policy is presented. In this system, the compulsory education funds are analyzed and calculated using the official Chinese statistical data. Integrated with the cloud computing technology, the system can forecast the school-age population and educational funds relative to the policy of extending the length of compulsory education. The educational data of Shanghai is selected as an example to test the validity and reliability of the proposed decision supporting system.
