The research and development of green pesticides in China received generously support from the Chinese government and society since then, promoting green pesticide innovation in China. Aiming to provide new tools to control insects, diseases, and weeds to protect staple crops in China, pesticide science and technology innovation made important progresses in China in recent years. This chapter summarizes the most important achievements in pesticide research mainly focusing on target exploration, molecular design strategies, and product development. China now emerges as an important contributor to research and development on green pesticides.
