Abstract

Treatment of zirconacyclopentadienes with CO in the presence of NiCl2(PPh3)2 afforded cyclopentadienones. Isonitriles reacted with zirconacyclopentadienes in the absence or in the presence of NiCl2(PPh3)2, and successive treatment of the mixture with CuCl in air gave iminocyclopentadiences.
